Olga Dimitri comes from Moscow, Russia.  She specialised in Fine Arts and Interior Designs at Academy I.  Scriabin in Moscow, whilst simultaneously persuing her professional qualifications in Trade and Economics.  She worked as an Interior Designer prior to coming to Sri Lanka in 1993.  Here, she is attached to the Tea Industry but has been able to devote more time to her art.  In recent years, she has held successful exhibitions in Colombo and Kandy at venues including the National Art Gallery, the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery, the Russian Center and Alliance Francaise.  Her works have been featured in some of the leading newspapers in Sri Lanka as well as in Explore Sri Lanka.
