Jiska Hartog is from Enschede in the Netherlands.  She graduated as a Gold and Silversmith at the AKI Academy of Art at Enschede and has held exhibitions of contemporary jewellery.  She worked for a year in Lapland (Norway) as a Goldsmith, making traditional sami jewellery of the nomad population.  This experience gave rise to her curiosity to discover new or different cultures and led eventually to her current tour of Sri Lanka, India and Nepal.  At present, Jiska is a student in the department of Sculpture at the AKI Academy.
