G R Iranna is from New Delhi, India.  He obtained his MFA in Painting from the College of Art, New Delhi.  He is the recipient of several scholarships and awards for art, amongst which was Artist in Residence at the Wimbledon School of Art, London for a two-year period.  He has participated in many group exhibitions in several Indian cities and in Singapore, Chicago and Amsterdam.  He has also held successful solo exhibitions in Mumbai, New Delhi, Cairo, London and Hong Kong.  His works are in collections at the National Gallery of Modern Art and the Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi and in several private collections in Hong Kong, Austria, Croatia and the USA.
