Ali Kazim is from Lahore, Pakistan.  He received a scholarship from the National College of Arts, Lahore and obtained the BFA 1st Division Degree with Distinction.  He has attended workshops in Video Documentary Production Process and in different techniques of Silk, Batik Block Painting and Printing.  As an art teacher he has assisted in various workshops and lecture programmes and also participated in video productions and fashion shows.  A prize winner on a number of occasions at exhibitions, his works have been on display at some of the leading galleries in Lahore and Islamabad.  In his paintings, Ali brings out the sensuous similarities between aspects of the human figure and other organic forms.
