"My work, through periods of time has never been static.
I have chosen to explore different themes. My current interest is in the
nature of Contemporary Women, and the forces of change that have had an impact on them,
and also examining the motives that effect such change within the modern woman. The
exercise of religious choice and the prerogative which is theirs is also a factor that I
have studied - while many women may well change their allegiance from Buddhism to another
faith, I am also able to see that those from outside have also made their shift of
allegiance towards Buddhism for the same or very similar personal and inwardly realized
reasons.
My paintings contained herein is the observation of a few
Contemporary Women, who have observed the cardinal precepts of the Buddhist teaching in
the precincts of a temple."
