"My canvas is the perspective of time, at least, me also.
The contradictions of the society have created alienation in our conscience; my
past and present paintings represent my unfulfilled comparisons as an artist. I bear
a sort of complacence as an artist and that centers on people and me. Mainly
black and white colours dominate my paintings and I use some other colors with
these. With this, I mean our present time is dark. My paintings portray hand made
pottery idols, pottery plates, paper made idols. Snake and domestic materials.
Since I live in Chittagong, which is the seaport of Bangladesh and flanked with
hills, the hills, river, the vast bay of Bengal and the locality create impact on my
creative inspiration."
